Abstract
The purpose of this experiment is to observe differences in physical and mental stress, anti-stress, emotional quotient between before and after the experiment. This research was done by carrying out ear massage using jojoba oil to sixteen people, in total, who were four people in their 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s, from april, 7th to april, 17th in 2011. The collected data was tested at 5% significance level adapting SPSS WIN 16.0 Program and the paired t-test of the statistical methods was used. Experiment results showed average differences between before and after the experiment. People in their 20s showed a remarkable difference in the area of physical stress in both the left and right brain. So did people in their 30s and 40s in the left brain. In contrast, the difference in their 50s between before and after the experiment was experimentally insignificant in both of the left and right brain. Difference of anti-stress change between before and after the experiment was experimentally significant in both of the left and right brain in all the groups. So was the difference of emotional quotient. In conclusion, people in their 20s, 30s and 40s showed remarkable difference of physical stress, while people in their 50s showed experimentally insignificant difference in both of the left and right brain. Differences of anti-stress change and emotional quotient between before and after the experiment was experimentally significant.
